A behind the scenes look at "Jane the Virgin" at Andrea's For the Bride.

What an amazing fun filled day it was for owners, Carmen and Samantha Popa at Andrea’s For the Bride. For the first time there were more men than women in our beloved family owned dress shop. Samantha and the amazing CW set design team spent days before prepping the shop for the big day. Making it look like a bride’s dream fantasy wedding salon.Gina Rodriquez and lead stylist Samantha were instant soul sisters after meeting for her first fitting." Choosing the right dress for "Jane" was easy. I knew that she was sweet and would want something traditional, modest, but with a little bit of sparkle." Samantha says.When  Samantha and CW’s wardrobe staff had agreed on their top choice wedding gown for quite the scene there was an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and excitement.  We all knew it was the one and from the reaction on Gina’s face after putting it on the first time,  she did too!When it was time to shoot the scene in the dressing room where Jane her love come together after a disagreement, Samantha was honored by being put in the show behind lead and start, Gina/ Jane." When they told me I was going to be in the scene all I could after two days of "hard labor" was, MY HAIR" Samantha giggles.Thankfully the amazing hair and make up staff of Jane the Virgin, added to what Samantha had going on and perfect the ultimate Hair Bun for the scene.After bonding with director, Debbie Allen, the producers, and writers of the show they insisted that the ladies of Andrea’s come to visit them on set.Carmen had a dream Jane had her baby in the show and we dressed her for a Baby Shower too!
